Biography

Linda Hodge-McLoud.

Location: Dayton, Ohio

 

Linda Hodge-McLoud is originally from Buffalo, NY and moved to Atlanta from Dayton, OH in late 2007. She enjoys performing in community theatre and has appeared in many stage productions in Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio and Atlanta, Georgia. She is currently teaching acting classes at the Lionheart Performing Arts Center, in Norcross, Georgia.

 

Linda also created “Goofy Grapes”, a fictional Disney-like character who emphasizes to young children (pre-k through 3rd grade) the importance of eating healthy foods and getting plenty of exercise. She initially gave one-woman presentations in the Dayton, Ohio elementary schools, public libraries and Head-Start programs.

 

After becoming aware of the childrens’ obesity crisis in America, “Goofy Grapes” became a local public access cable television show that became very popular. Linda served as Executive producer of the television show as well.

 

One of her most rewarding and humbling experiences has been her missionary work in Haiti in 2004 and again in 2006.
